In the heart of a small, remote village, a family lives a simple yet difficult life. The cinder block walls of their house, barely able to withstand the cold winds and torrential rains, are a testament to the challenging and patient life the family faces. Mustafa, a hardworking and determined man, spends his days working on the house and doing his best to provide for his family. But life is not easy for him and his wife, Mahvash.
Mahvash, a strong and kind-hearted woman, has faced new challenges after a tragic accident that left her paralyzed. Unable to move easily after a fall from a mountain, she is also enduring a heavy emotional burden. Their three children, Amir Ali, Yasna, and Sinaz, are the light of hope and life for this family, but economic and social pressures weigh heavily on the parents.
Today, as the sun slowly sets and shadows lengthen in the corners of the house, a fierce fight breaks out between Mahvash and Mustafa. Mahvash, who is deeply concerned about Mustafa’s relationship with Bita, feels that love and affection may be forming between them. These feelings have put a lot of pressure on her and have created emotional and intellectual tensions in her life.
Mahvash angrily says to Mustafa: “Why do you always spend time with Bita? Is she more important to you than me?” These words land like a knife on Mustafa’s heart. He, who has always tried to support Mahvash and maintain his love, is now faced with a great challenge. Mustafa replies in a calm voice: “Mehvash, you are my wife and no one can take your place. Bita is just a friend.”
But Mehvash, overwhelmed by her feelings of insecurity, cannot calm down. She remembers how she spent days and nights in pain and now worries that Mustafa’s love for her may fade. Meanwhile, Bita, who is witnessing the fight from afar, finds herself in a difficult situation. She does not want to put a distance between the two, but she cannot be indifferent to Mehvash’s feelings.
This fight not only affects the relationship between Mehvash and Mustafa, but also casts a shadow on their children. Amirali, Yasna and Sinaz watch their parents’ fight with concern and impatiently wait for peace to return to the house.
Ultimately, this fight not only represents the emotional challenges of a paralyzed woman but also the tensions in a simple village life where love and affection must overcome difficulties. Can Mahvash overcome her feelings of insecurity? Will Mustafa be able to show his true love to his wife and remove Bita from the equation? Only time will tell.
