How to Combine WiFi and a Tethered Phone Connection on Your Computer
In this video we’re looking at how to combine WiFi and a tethered phone connection on your Windows PC or macOS computer so you get increased bandwidth by using both connections at the same time.

When tethering your phone to your computer, you can choose to do this via cable (USB) or wireless mobile hotspot. For wired tethering, just connect your phone to a USB cable plugged into your computer and follow the instructions for tethering from your device manufacturer. For wireless mobile hotspot tethering, you’ll have to create a mobile hotspot on your device so that your computer can be able to connect to that newly created WiFi network.
Here’s how to combine WiFi and tethered phone connections:
Step 1 - Get Speedify on your computer - http://speedify.com/download/
Step 2 - Connect to the WiFi network connection with your laptop’s built-in WiFi adapter or using a WiFi card on your PC / Mac.
Step 3a - For wired tethering - just connect your phone to your PC via the USB cable and follow the instructions.
Step 3b - For wireless mobile hotspot tethering - create a mobile hotspot from your phone and connect to the second WiFi network connection with a USB WiFi adapter.
Speedify will automatically start using both WiFi and tethered phone connections once they’re connected.
Without Speedify, your computer is unable to use both WiFi and tethered phone connections to the Internet at the same time.
