Weird West playthrough on very hard PS4 Part 01 I've seen weirder
Now this one was a nice surprise! When the game popped up as a monthly "free" game as part of PS subscription, I thought to myself that it probably was some mediocre isometric shooter with linear levels and gameplay. Oh boy, I was so wrong! I tried it out and immediately discovered that Weird West has much more to offer, giving me instant Fallout 2 vibes. Although the setting is different, the combat is real-time shooting action - I somehow felt as if playing an OG Fallout with the wonder of discovery (and risks) of the map travels. I delved into the game only to discover that the first few missions are just the surface of all the mechanics the game has to offer.
In this part: I start the story of the first character (out of four as far as I know) - a retired bounty hunter, Jane Bell, whose family farm is attacked by a gang that deals in human trafficking (and canibalism?); her boy and dog are killed by the attackers, her husband kidnapped. Jane digs out her old "irons" to go on a rescue mission.
