How to Increase PS4 Controller Battery Life | Tips and Tricks | Battery Performance

So the first tip is an obvious one.
And that’s going to be turning off your controller to conserve battery life.
And the best time to do this is in between gaming sessions
Or while you’re watching a show.
To do this, simply press and hold the home button until the quick menu pops up.
Next, click on sound and devices
Scroll down to the bottom
And click on turn off device
Or you can hold the home button for 10 seconds
And this will turn off the controller as well
Next, we’re going to be adjusting the brightness of the light bar on the controller.
And to do this, go back to the quick menu
Click on sound and devices
Scroll down to Brightness of Dualshock 4 Light Bar
And select Dim
So on this setting, You are going to get an extra 1 hour and 20 minutes of battery life.
Now for the next one, you probably won't see as big of a difference in battery life, but it will still add a little something to the end result.
So let head back over to the quick menu
Click on sound and devices
And at the top of the menu
Select volume control
Now go ahead and turn this all the way down to its lowest setting.
And For the final tip.
This is the one that will make the biggest difference in battery performance.
And that is... turning off the vibrations in your PS4 controller
To do this, go into your Settings tab
Scroll down and click on Devices
Next select Controllers
And here you can Disable the Vibrations
Keep in mind with this setting turned off
the Battery performance gains
will vary depending on the type of games you play
and the different play styles of certain gamers
But if I were to guess
you will probably see a 2 - 4 hour increase in battery life
