WD-40 is more of a cleaning agent so we definitely recommend that if you have been carrying your knife. Lint, dirt and other debris can get down in the firing mechanism causing it to misfire. To lubricate the knife, any REM or Gun/Knife oil will work. Every company has their preference but WD-40 is what we tell most people because just about everyone has that already in their home. #otfknives #switchblade #eknives
