The Whisper of the Worm can be obtained from the secret Whisper mission on Io. The mission becomes available when a public event appears in Lost Oasis. Getting this mission done solo is tough, but is possible. New light players have access to this mission!
In this video, I use a setup that any New Light player would have access to. I hope it's helpful.
Nameless Midnight - Year 1 scout - any scout will work just as well.
Ikelos Shotgun - via Escalation Protocol; absolutely shreds in this mission, must have for a variety of PVE content.
Sleeper Simulant (exotic) - Obtainable via a quest line with Ana Bray on Mars.
Polaris Lance (exotic) - Obtainable via quest line on Mars - ABSOLUTELY SHREDS AT THE END OF THE VIDEO!
I use void titan with doom fangs for the fighting, lion rampants for the jumping puzzle.
