This is the process of how I restored my old MIDI keyboard! Everything from how to open a keyboard to clean it, to cleaning the inside and outside of the instrument, and how to whiten yellow keyboard keys. I also briefly touch on how to fix keyboard keys that are not working or are stuck, and how to fix old sticky plastic.
IMPORTANT NOTE! After whitening the keys, and of course once they have dried, spray them with a clear acrylic varnish to prevent them from turning yellow again. Wait until they dry to re-attach them to the keyboard. I learned this information after creating this video and finding my keys started to slowly turn yellow after a period of 9-10 months.
