Rather unexpectedly, the drydown calls to mind the roasted, meaty qualities of some varieties of Japanese incense. This is no bad thing, but it doesn't change the fact that, as a whole, this piece of work remains unconvincing, pulling in various directions with tired, lumbering slowness.
