How to Hide News and Interest on Windows 10

Recently this weather and new widget showed up on the taskbar and you are not able to figure out how to remove it. It's not hidden when you select do not show Cortana. It seems to be a Microsoft driven add-on because the bottom says "Microsoft News" and it opens msn on any link you click. It auto-expands when you hover over it and it's blocking important widget space like battery. Feels like it behaves more like a virus than a Microsoft add-on but you are quite sure your system's clean.
How to Remove "News and interest"
1. Right-click anywhere on the taskbar
2. Go to News and Interests
3. Choose Turn off to turn it off
