Do you know how to create a form with Bootstrap site? Bootstrap is one of the different sites that offer users the chance to create their online websites as professional as they want them to look like.
Bootstrap is the place to build responsive, mobile-first projects on the web with the world's most popular front-end component library. It is an open source toolkit for developing with HTML, CSS, and JS. Bootstrap is the perfect place to prototype your ideas or build your entire application with the website's Sass variables and mixins, responsive grid system, extensive rebuilt components, and powerful plugins built on jQuery.
In this video, we are going to help you in knowing how to create a form through using the various templates of Bootstrap site and we are going to add this to the website we have created through the previous videos which already have the nav bar or navigation menu ( • How To Create A Navigation Menu Using... ) and the carousel until now ( • How To Create A Carousel Using Bootst... ).
So in order to create a form, the first thing to do on Bootstrap website is go to the components tap on the left side of the page. In the components menu you will choose 'forms' and there you will find the overview and there you will have your email address and password form and then at the end you will find that the code is created by the form tag with the different classes there.
The different classes which are found there include the first one that has the form and within that you have the label which is about the email address, the password, the subject message. Below the label, you have the input type, this is the email with the class form control and the unique ID for the particular group.
The second part is related to the form controls and in this example you could have the drop down option for input fields which could be used for things that need numbers, such as the amount of days for example for a specific membership. There is also the multiple select in which you could select several items within the list and then you have the text area where someone could either make a comment and it could be also used in blog forums and things like that where users could create an account and leave comments on blog posts and things like that or you can have a message area where someone can ask about your business.
You could almost change everything related to Bootstrap according to your business and how you want it to appear and look like or what is its nature. One of the options found on Bootstrap is uploading files which is done by changing the input type to file and that allows the user to browse their computer and send whatever file they want.
One of the other options or things to do with Bootstrap is to change the actual size of the input field, so you have the large select, the default and then the smaller select, and this is also something you could involve in your responsive design so if you are viewing it in a screen with above 1200 pixels then you will have the large select and if you are having it on a mobile phone then you will have the smaller select.
Moving on with creating a form on Bootstrap, we will come to the point of the arranged inputs which is also edited through the 3-inch input type, it's basically just a scrollable bar here which is just in things like comparison sites. There is also the read-only inputs which prevents the user from being able to add at the actual value within that input field or you could have it as text - as you can see in the video.
We also have the check boxes and radio buttons which we could create will bringing this form into our website to life which is served through Bootstrap, so you have the input class as a form check input and then the type is set to checkbox, actually ticked as a default which you can do by just adding the checked class after the ID.
This is the last part in creating this form with Bootstrap in order to create this part of the website, and you could even copy and paste the codes in Chrome in order to see whether you will get what you have been planning to do at the end or else not, which will make the whole process easier.
We have different things to offer for those who are trying to build their websites and when it comes to Bootstrap they could also check the video tutorial we have which they could know how to deal with Bootstrap through ( • What is bootstrap? Build a FULL site ... ).
