Sample colours from an orthophoto to visualise a point cloud in QGIS
This video demonstrates how to sample RGB values from an orthophoto to visualise a point cloud dataset with realistic colours. The procedure uses LAStools to sample the colours and Entwine to convert to the Potree format. We then visualise the point cloud using the Qgis2threejs plugin.
