The Music Video of Batten Girls' "I am starting to fall in love with you!" was released on November 10, 2021.
The new song "I'm starting to fall in love with you!" has a sad yet cute chorus, and a rap section written like a conversation which develops with a solid beat. The more you listen to the music, the more you will be drawn into the world of fleeting love.
Following the hit tune "OiSa" ( MV→ • ばってん少女隊『OiSa』 -Music Video- ) released last year, Mr. Shinobu Watanabe (ASPARAGUS) wrote the lyrics, composed the music, mixed the sounds, and created " a sad love dance tune that doesn’t say I love you" featuring a collaboration with choreographer air: man.
The long-awaited new MV was shot on Iki Island, Nagasaki Prefecture, where the Batten Girls performed a systematic dance with an inorganic-esque face to express the six different human emotions: "disgust," "fear," "sadness," "surprise," "anger," and "Joy" depending on the piece of those feelings that was given to each of them. The six emotions of human beings are revealed, and they gradually mix and become complicated feelings ... various emotions overflow and become complicated when falling in love. It’s a short movie that fascinates the audience with the performance of the 6 Batten Girls members.
Iki Island is often called a power spot and is dotted with more than 150 shrines, including Kojima Shrine, approachable for only a few hours at low tide. The location becomes mysteriously fused with the Batten Girls, and will surely make you enjoy the world of the song even more deeply.
