I wrote this song about my parents' divorce in the middle of growing up, and how sometimes you can cry so much that it starts to feel like you're being cut up by every drop. It's me there on the tape, just out of high school.

Today I cried Steel Tears,
They fell like broken mirrors,

Last night I slept and dream't,
