Late last month the Andaman Travel Trade show was held here in Phuket where the Tourism Authority of Thailand sponsored airfares for 322 international buyers from at least 25 countries to explore tourism products in Thailand and meet local sellers. The event took place at Rajaphat University's new convention centre. Freelance reporter Grant talked to her about the event as she sees it as perfect time to rectify Thailand's image and said she is confident that Thailand's tourism will soon recover.
