cmake-gui allows to create a cmake configuration from scratch if you start the cmake-gui executable without command line parameters. cmake-gui also accepts the same command line parameters and environment variables as the cmake command line executable when running the step "CMake configure". kdesrc-build uses a long cmake command line; by replacing "cmake" with "cmake-gui" in that command line, we can inspect in a GUI window the cmake configuration.
