Turns out, it's complicated. Discord is allowing any bot to become verified. Discord's trying to make things easier for bot developers so that Discord bots can grow, specifically Discord user apps. But does this reason have an ulterior motive?
And better yet, does the term "verified" even mean anything at this point?
