Idaho’s Judge John Judge granted Bryan Kohberger’s motion to move his trial out of Latah County. The defense argued that a fair and impartial jury could not be found in the same county where four University of Idaho students were found brutally murdered. The family of Kaylee Goncalves, one of the victims, called out Judge Judge in a statement about the change in venue, saying his rulings always favored the defense.
