"Everything will change, yes! But you only realize what all this actually means when the little ones are here,” confirms Sarah Lüters from Frankfurt/Main, mother of Baby Max. The new documentary series “Our Baby. Everything will be different” accompanies 8 families and 9 babies, from pregnancy to birth and through the first 12 months of life, in which Emma, Said or the twins Theo and Henri turn their parents' lives upside down. And above all there is the question: will everything be fine in the end? Can relationships and marriages withstand this test of endurance? How does the relationship between the couples change when they are suddenly three or four?
Similar but more formal and not so concrete, perhaps supplementing, merging?
The relationship between babies and their parents is unique and extraordinary.
The first twelve months in particular are a time of extreme closeness and extreme emotions, from unconditional love to being overwhelmed and total despair.
And so after the birth, the relationship of the parents themselves is often put to the test - "Everything will be different". A new seven-part documentary series by Hessischer Rundfunk shows what this "everything" can be. "Our baby. Everything will be different.” is the candid and unsparing but also very humorous look at the suddenly chaotic life of eight young families with a total of nine babies.
