A European Dobsonian and an Eclipse Road Trip
In this video we travel to New Brunswick to witness the April 8th 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Thanks to AstroShop.eu for sending along this 6-inch Omegon Dobsonian Telescope (Advanced X N 152/1200). On this trip we attend Atlantic Canada’s first astronomy tradeshow, “Astronomy East” held in Miramichi. Then we head down to Storybook Cottages in Doaktown to meet the Eclipse Crew including, Astrophotographers Trevor Jones, Ashley Northcotte, Jason Dian, and Tim Doucette. Astronomer Dave Chapman and his wife, among many others were there as well. Thanks to Stéphane Picard from Cliff Valley Astro for the invite.
