Joseph Couch manhunt: Kentucky State Police urge I-75 shooter to “give himself up”
A manhunt for the suspect in the Interstate- 75 (I-75) shooting that left eight people injured in Laurel County, Kentucky, resumed on Monday morning, with the Kentucky State Police taking over the search.
Several agencies are now involved in the massive manhunt for Joseph Couch.
Couch is alleged to have opened fire on I-75 around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, striking five people with bullets and causing accidents that resulted in injuries to three others.
Police said they found his abandoned Toyota on top of a hill near a forest access road on Saturday night. They later found an AR-15 that was believed to be used in the shooting.
