Cutting clips in Premiere Pro.
Double click the clip to open it in the source window.
Find which part of the clip you want to be the start. Hit the in button or I on the keyboard.
Find which part of the clip you want to be the end. Hit the out button or O on the keyboard.
You can now drag the clip to the sequence.
Alternatively, you can pull the whole clip down and use the Blade tool. Or C on the keyboard.
With the tool selected click where you want to make the cuts.
You can also cut separately on each track.
If you want to cut through all tracks. Hold shift as you cut.
To move clips. Click the arrow tool or V on the keyboard. The idea for these tutorials is to help people gain more video and audio editing skills quickly without having to watch a 10-minute video every time they need to learn a new skill.
