My first project in this new digital simulator is to try out the vga output.
Using 2 eproms to decode the binary counters and provide blanking and sync signals the vga signal was up and running in no time.
playing with the rgb signals i was able to change screen colors , then using another eprom with bmp images i switch to displaying the data from the roms. Next up is to add video ram :) wish me luck !
and if anyone has advice on correcting colors to rrrgggbb ( 8 bit ) let me know in the comments.
