Samco Machinery's Solution to Produce Window wells
This machine bends and curves window well profiles with projection of 24, 30 and 36 inch, width of 12- 61 3/8” with beads on one side or both sides, and panel lengths ranging from 79 to 144 inches.
It can run up to 0.061” (spoken “sixty one one hundredths of an inch” or “point zero six one inch”) thick material with a maximum yield strength of 45 KSI at variable line speeds of up to one part per minute.
Product is fed by the Powered Accelerating Conveyor to the Linear Module Positioning Device before being fed into the Bending/Curving unit by the Powered Side Transfer System.
The leading and trailing ends of the panel are bent by the two independently driven presses before being curved by the curving unit.
After bending and curving is complete, the window well profile is moved by the Overhead Gantry Discharge Unit to the Exit Stack conveyor which is equipped with a scissor lift.
Once a bundle of 5 has been stacked, the finished product is transported by a powered exit conveyor to a rotating table where it is turned 90 degrees for removal by a forklift.
