✨*Sacred Geometry in Motion: 10,000 Seeds Transformed into a Stunning Wall Art Mandala*
Every year, Texas State Galleries honors distinguished alumni of the School of Art and Design with an exhibition of selected works. In 2019, I was honored to present a solo exhibition featuring my Seed and Rock Mandalas—large-scale wall installations that challenge conventional ideas of preciousness by celebrating the raw beauty of organic materials with a sacred reverence.
🌱 Sophora Secundiflora Mandala consists of approximately 10,000 Texas mountain laurel seeds, 18k gold leaf, and sewing pins. Together, they form a sacred geometric pattern reflecting these natural elements' cultural and physical histories.
