Kanye West posted a few tweets speaking about general life issues, and a couple of them were specifically about the BLEXIT movement and politics in general. He stated that he was going to focus on his art rather than politics and that he felt used. Kanye also stated that he has nothing to do with BLEXIT and all he did was pass the name of the logo designer to Candace Owens.
There has been a lot said about this from political pundits and regular normies on the internet but at the end of the day, the movement will go on. The critics will speak as if doom is nigh, but that’s just an exaggeration from those who would enjoy it if the movement fell apart completely.
Sure, it would have been nice to have a celebrity like Kanye West push forward the movement with their star power, but his star power is not necessary to fuel the train. Candace Owens, Brandon Tatum, Charlie Kirk and many others over at Turning Point, alongside those of us that support them, are more than enough to keep the movement going. BLEXIT is an idea that Candace Owens came up with so Kanye West is not necessary to involve at all.
Some people are upset at Kanye for his public disavowing of BLEXIT and that’s totally understandable. Especially for people who have gone above and beyond to protect and defend him in recent times. I, however, still respect the man for being free and independent to believe how he wants which is a core tenant of the movement. To break the mental chain of bondage to one particular political ideology.
