At the last minute, Nick Alexander achieved his Kickstarter goal by $12. Thank you to anybody who gave! I know it s a tough time for everybody, but I’m really impressed with humanity on this.

It's time for this channel to evolve and enter a new phase. So, we're gonna start by spotlighting some artists I've met and want to tell you more about.
I met Nick Alexander (@nickalexander.film) at Final Cut Pro Summit in 2019. When you go a professional conference, it's all about meeting folks, and Nick and I hit it off. He's from the Pacific Northwest, runs his own video production company and even teaches college-level Spanish. Woah, that's a diversified portfolio.
Nick recently finished his first feature-length documentary, titled "Illegal." It tells the story of a man, Laz Ayala, who came to the U.S. illegally in the 1980s, but is now a naturalized U.S. citizen and a business leader in Oregon. Amidst the highly political debate about immigration reform, Laz decided he wanted to tell his own story rather than just listen to politicians drone on with their views on immigration.
"Illegal" is currently making the festival rounds and Nick needs your help. It's not cheap to enter a film into a bunch of festivals and to travel in support of it. So Nick is currently running a Kickstarter and time is winding down. The campaign ends on April 4, 2020.
If you have few shekels, please consider tossing some his way. I know Corona lockdown makes it tough, but I promise it'll make you feel good to support a fellow artist...good karma and all that. Here's all the links you need to help Nick!
