A Web Based ERP For Placement Management.
This project aims to develop a system which will store all the data of all student at
one place, easily get retrieved whenever the TPO or TPC want to see and manage a placed
student data. It reduces the paper work too. Lot of manual work can be replaced with just
a single click. Now it will not be required to create google forms for each company’s drive
and send it to students, then sort it accordingly along with student resumes.It can be managed
through Placement Studio where every thing can be obtained at single click. All the required
data will be at finger tips.
Nearly every year, placement drives take place at several colleges. The student profiles and
their documentation must be managed manually or in some other cumbersome way during
that phase by the Training and Placement Officers of all the departments of these colleges.
TPO must compile data on various industries looking to hire students and periodically tell
students about them. It is typically carried out manually, which is a laborious and inconvenient process for TPO. Even, it is a laborious process for TPO to speak with each and every
student to correct any errors they may have made. Software is therefore required to manage
these duties and to cut down on manpower.
Our aim is to develop a website which can reduce the task of training and placement
officer, reduce the paper work, and create interface for student which provide a information
about placement activities.
Objectives:
1. To develop a system this will store all related information about students through student module.
2. To provide a facility of downloadable resume.
3. To monitor all data of student, along with documents.
4. To provide facility of verifying students by TPCs and verifying TPCs by TPOs.
An Efficient ERP System which can reduce an overhead of TPO as well as TPC during
placement drives. Due to this TPOs or TPCs will not have to create google forms and take
student details every time for each company drive. This system will accelerate the placement drive related activities. As this system takes all the academic, personal, extra curricular
details fo each student along with their documents, these resources can be used for any company multiple times. Also TPO or TPC would not have to take student resumes multiple
times for interview purposes. This system will keep all these records for every year.
Modules:
• Student Module : Students need to register to the Placement Studio ERP. They will
have to fill all the asked details. Based on the filled details resume will be generated.
Even this data is used for drives.
• TPC Module : TPC will have to register to the Placement Studio ERP. They will have
to fill all the asked details. After filling important marked details they will be able to
see the profiles of the department to which they belong. They can view and download
the student documents.
• TPO Module : TPO can add TPC to the Placement Studio ERP by sending invitation
link on mail through this platform. They are referred as administrator. They can view
and download the student documents. They can see students of all departments by
applying filter.
The users will be provided with the following functionalities:
• The system can generate student resumes and students, TPO and TPC as well can
download it for any purpose.
• TPC can get the details of which student is placed in which company.
• TPC can verify students of their respective departments so that no any student can
register with multiple identities.
• Similarly TPO can verify TPC so that no TPC can create multiple identities.
• All students can submit their placement status and the offer letters of companies in
which they are placed.
• This system provides a complete ease to all its users. Each and every component is
made user friendly so that every involved people could understand their roles.
This system can be used by any educational institution which carries placement related
drives each year. It is specially designed to reduce the overhead of Training and Placement
Officers. It reduces the paper work and keeps track of all the placement tasks that take place
for each company. Also it shows the placement progress for each year in graphical form a for all departments. It is the significant web based ERP for all the entities involved in the institution.
