This is the tale of how Italian Para Swimmers - Simone Barlaam, Federico Morlacchi and Alberto Amodeo, were bored while waiting for their return flight from Tokyo and decided to start a shared Instagram account.

They refer to themselves as 'Le 3 Gambette or "the three little legs," which is to do with their shared connection of all being leg amputees. They mention how social media has helped them by being able to take a moment to have fun, away from competition.

They also talk about pushing each other during tough times and the camaraderie they developed, especially during their time in Tokyo, where they spent a lot of time together, with minimal contact with others.

From 28th August to 8th September 2024, make sure to subscribe to catch @le_3_gambette in action at the 2024 Paralympic Games, which will be available to stream here!
