Solo Of The Week: 59 Top Gear Sweep Picking
I wanted to pay tribute to one of the videogames that really marked me because of its music, so here you have the legendary arpeggios from “Track 1” that open up gameplay in this classic SNES game.
To get a more percussive tone every note single was picked and everything was played with palm muting except for the three notes that slide down the 5th string at the beginning and the long ending note. I used alternate picking whenever more than one note is played on a single string and all the single notes were sweep picked.
