Sungold 10 KW inverter failure.
New model from Sungold. SPH10K48SP
Would not run even fresh out of box. All connections tested, new Sungold battery, charged, Constant 05- failure code. Smells burnt. "Support" from sungold has been limited to emails from China (I believe, as I get them in the middle of the night). They demand that I disassemble the unit and run various tests, to the point where they want me to break open sealed components to continue running down the issue. This is a brand new unit and they won't discuss return and replacement. Google search finds similar reports from others. Caution is suggested, I have moved on to finance chargeback and other options to resolve. Buyer beware of this company.
