In this tutorial, we demonstrate the mathematical steps to solve an algebraic inequality. Starting with the inequality -4(X + 3) (smaller then) 24, we show you how to get rid of the negative 4 by dividing both sides, and then simplify the expression to isolate X. Remember, with inequalities, multiplying or dividing by a negative number requires flipping the inequality sign!
