Cutting Concrete with a Circular Saw
In this video, we are cutting concrete with a circular saw aka skil saw. The blade that I am using is a Bosch DB741C 7-Inch Premium Segmented Diamond Blade. These blades can be used to cut cement either wet or dry. Dry cutting will create more dust. Wet cutting requires the saw to be plugged into a GFI outlet for electrical safety. I used a 3M Dual cartridge respirator assembly to keep out the concrete dust while cutting with the diamond blade. The Bosch segmented diamond blade cut with ease and allowed for a clean edge when breaking out concrete to replace the floor drain trap.
