How to Change your Account Password Using Command prompt on Windows 10?
Step 1: Click on the 'Search box' in the taskbar, and then type 'cmd' without quotes.
Step 2: Right click on 'Command Prompt' app, and then click on 'Run as administrator.'
Step 3: Type 'net user' without quotes in the command prompt, and then hit enter key on the keyboard. This command lists all users on your computer.
Step 4: To Change password, type 'net user username_of_the_account *' without quotes, and then hit enter key on the keyboard.
Step 5: Type your desired password, and then hit enter key.
Step 6: Retype the password to confirm, and then hit enter key. If you see the message 'The command completed successfully,' that means your password has been changed to new one. Now, close the command prompt. Sign-out, and sign-in again with your new password.
It's done.
