How did I turn a crappy comment into something positive?
I had a comment on one of my YouTube videos that made me feel like sh*t. I suck at video creation, and every time I turn on the camera to start filming something educational the onslaught of imposter syndrome and stage fright kicks in. Even though I'm sitting in my own room in my own home by myself, I feel scared almost every time.
Having someone leave a comment that purely exists to identify your speaking flaws is pretty rough. It certainly doesn't help with the points above.
However, it's all about what we do with what we're given. That feedback hurt, but when I record videos now, if I catch myself saying "actually", I will re-record the segment. I also used it as an opportunity to educate about how to give feedback:
