It's Now and Then week on American Idol; and the artists took on two songs: one from the current decade, and one paying tribute to the legendary Soul Train era. Ryan Seacrest started things off by remembering his mentor Dick Clark. Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez didn't disappoint the judges after lackluster performances last week. Skylar Laine also impressed the judges with her rendition of Alicia Key's "Fallin".
