Stories of Women of Color in STEM Webinar
The Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC) recently released Stories of Women of Color in STEM. This e-Book is the second installment in the Stories of Women in STEM e-Book series and highlights the largely untold stories of women of color's contributions to science and innovation.
On February 15, the SSEC hosted an interview-style webinar where students had the opportunity to hear from two of the trailblazing women featured in the e-Book, Carly Hornberger of the Smithsonian National Zoo and Robin Kumoluyi of Johnson & Johnson, who turned their passions into a profession.
