Live Hacking Demo with SECRET NSA Tools - Disassemble and Decompile with Dave!
LIVESTREAM w/ Dave as he hacks live and uses the (formerly) CLASSIFIED Ghidra tool from the NSA to decompile a series of C programs in order to analyze their internal workings.
I'll be using Ghidra to disassemble and decompile programs from machine language back into not only assembly language but also full C source code. I'll then go through and hand-tune the decompilation by improving variable naming and so on in order to improve context and make the code more readable.
I'll be using a VM running in an isolated HyperV in order to keep the tool isolated and accessing it only through the remote desktop port.
This also means I've now posted a video with "NSA" and "Classified" and "Hacks" and "Secret" in the title! Wish me luck :-)
