In this video, we put the Leica GS18 GNSS receiver up against its predecessor, the GS15, to see how much has changed over 9 years of development. Both receivers promise centimeter-level accuracy, but can updated firmware make the older GS15 match the GS18’s performance? We’ll be ground truthing all the data with a traditional total station for comparison, and using points under varying conditions to see how these GNSS receivers handle the challenge.
