This video covers installing and running The Outer Worlds on Linux when purchased through the Epic Games Store by using Lutris.

This game should work out of the box with the latest build of Lutris-Wine.

Step 1. Install Latest Release of Wine.

Step 2. Install Latest Release of Lutris.

Step 3. Install Epic Games Store.

Launch Lutris, click on the Epic Games Store option under Sources on the left hand side and install Epic Games Store using Wine.

Once installation has finished, launch the Epic Games Store and sign into your account.

Step 4. Install The Outer Worlds.

Once signed in, download the game as normal and launch when ready.

Although I recommend disabling both the Show Free Game and Show News and Special Offer Notifications in the Settings.
