Li Lu is the founder and Chairman of Himalaya Capital, a multi-billion-dollar investment fund which Charlie Munger (vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway) is one of the investors of his fund. And Li Lu's Himalaya Capital Fund has garnered an annualised compound return of 19.4% since 1998 [to 2017], compared to 6.5% for the S&P500 during the same period.
