Tennis elbow is inflammation of common extensor origin of the forearm – this is the point in the bone just above your elbow where the muscles and tendons that extend your wrist and fingers arise. Usually, this condition can be treated with a combination of steroid injections and physiotherapy. If symptoms fail to improve with non-operative measures, it may be recommended that you undergo surgical repair of these muscles and tendon attachments.

Dr Natasha Beach explains the signs of tennis elbow, what causes this type of injury and what treatment options are available where at OneWelbeck.
