India: Massive Fire Breaks Out In Amusement Park In Gujarat, At Least 27 Killed

In the Indian state of Gujarat, a massive fire broke out in the city of Rajkot. The fire ripped through an amusement park’s gaming zone and killed at least twenty-seven individuals. Among the deceased were nine children. The reason for the fire is not clear yet but the police have detained the gaming zone's owners. According to reports, at least 300 people were present inside the gaming zone when the fire broke out. Survivors reportedly kicked open doors and jumped from the windows to save themselves. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is himself from the state of Gujarat said that he is distressed by the incident.
