Nikolay Timofeyevich Gres (Николай Тимофеевич Гресь 1920-2003) sings a French traditional song: Marching Song or "Le chant du départ" (Походная), lyrics by E.Mugel, music arrangement by Boris Alexandrovich Alexandrov . Recorded in 1963, possibly in Moscow or Paris.
Gres was an Honoured Artist of Russia. Before joining the Ensemble he was a soloist of the Black Sea Fleet Ensemble and then soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre.
