Fixed defence turret at military airfield. Strv m/41
Kärntorn m/41. A way to bolster the defence around the Swedish coastlines, airfield and other military installations during WW2 and the Cold war was to reuse old and obsolete tank turrets. A huge number of turrets both from ships and tanks were installed all over Sweden.
This defence turret comes from a Strv m/41, a Czech TNH light tank that both Sweden and Germany used under WW2 and afterwards. In Germany it was designated Panzer 38t. Armed with a 37mm gun.
