Edit: 3.6.0 Changes affecting this build - Inquisitor no longer gets 6% mana regen from Pious Path, instead it now grants 200 flat ES regen. So to make the build function similarly to the video above, you would have to go MoM + Eldritch Battery (with Devouring Diadem probably) and scale ES instead of mana. You would also get the added benefit of reserving more Auras and using a real ring instead of Essence Worm and real amulet instead of Atziri's Foible. You can also drop the Sulphur Flask or use Bottled Faith. You would probably play a spell instead of an attack skill to take advantage of the new ES leech support gem, or just getting ES leech from the tree. Overall this build can still do very well with some tweaks.
Testing how well my tanky mana build does against end game bosses. I decided to build my char around Pious Path instead of Inevitable Judgment for the nice consecrated ground effects. I also went Mind over Matter and Elemental Overload so that I can freely scale mana and mana regen and still do a little bit of damage.
Overall, I played very aggressively and tanked Shaper's slam, balls (I actually dodged/blocked most of them), and even got hit by a bullet hell projectile followed by a shaper beam and still survived. I knew I could play aggressively to make up for my low damage since I invested so heavily into life/mana gear. Not sure if the investment was worth it over a generic life based crit build, but I just like to experiment and waste exalts ;)
