living in Rural Nevada - Exploring the Fancier Mine
about 5 miles northeast and above the Manhattan Gulch is a very old and interesting mine dug into the mountain side.
hauling out mostly turquoise and high grade Silver ore from around the late 1890' to present.
it was called the Fancier Family Mine and even has a movie made about involving a massacre up in mountain Meadows NV back in the day.
now I know this video is kinda long and but well worth the time as I walk up and down the trails and even almost make it to the top where I find the remains of a rock dugout house")
