Tronic is a tier 5 linear tech surf map released in March of 2010. Originally considered an absurd test of technical skill, the route currently run by top surfers is beautiful and disorienting. After a decade of advancements, the world record for Tronic features more than a dozen complicated and precise skips. All packed into just 50 seconds of surfing. We're going to examine the history of tronic's world records, break-down its skips and techniques, and take a look at the future of the map and surf beyond.
