Shooting time-lapse and hyper-lapse videos perfectly already takes a lot of time and effort. And that's not enough as also the editing still needs to be done.
Ideally, you record your Time- or Hyper-Lapse in RAW photos. That gives you more flexibility and dynamic range. So you get a much higher quality video at the end.
Unfortunately, RAW photos can usually not be processed by video editing apps. That's why you first have to use an app like Luminar 3 or Lightroom to convert them to jpg or another image format.
After that, you have to bring all the images together as a video. That step can be done using a video editor like Final Cut Pro X or DaVinci Resolve, but is not always ideal as they usually don't reduce flickers, which can easily happen when you shoot a time-lapse. Especially if you shoot in an automatic mode, like aperture priority. That's why apps or plugins like TLDF are a lot better for this step.
After that is done, you can import the video file into your editing app and use it like every other video clip.
