On Saturday May 15th, the final day we were allowed to hang out with more than 2 people before another "lockdown," we managed to squeeze in a planned walk (don't think it's worth the real title of a "hike." More like a really long nature walk.) along the Rail Corridor. Check out our 13km trek through the path carved out by a historic railway from the early 1900's!
Starting from the Central Corridor (Hillview MRT stop/Rail Mall), we made our way south back towards Tanjong Pagar to KM0, the old Tanjong Railway Station. Though it was a grueling long and very straight walk, we were thankful for good cooperative weather and a very manageable clean path after some pretty bad rain the morning of. For those that are more adventurous, you can also head north from Central Corridor for another 11KM all the way to Woodlands! In addition to that, the Central Corridor itself is worth the visit with Dairy Farm Nature Park, Bukit Batok Nature Park and Singapore Quarry all nearby.
