In this product video, the focus is on how seller can manager their order status on a Marketplace store. To accomplish this critical task, seller first needs to log in to his/her account on the Marketplace store. For this, he/she need to click on the “Sign in” option which will land him/her to the Authentication page which consists of option like create an account or already registered.
If the seller wants to sell his/her products on the Marketplace store, it is time to first register himself/herself through create an account option. If the seller is already registered, he/she needs to log in to his/her seller account with his/her email address and password. Once the seller has logged in to the account, “My Account page” will appear. The page consists of a wide range of options like order history and details, my credit slips, my addresses, my personal information, my vouchers and other such options.
Along with it, “My Account” page also contains detailed information about seller account in the form of dashboard, seller profile, products, orders, product reviews, my reviews, earning, transactions, category request and shipping. At the top right corner of the page, there is a option “seller account” besides seller, contact us and sign out that contains the same options as the ones that are mentioned on the “My Account” page. By clicking on the orders option from the drop down menu, seller will arrive at a page titled “My Orders”.
This page contains various information like total sale, total products sold, pending orders, filter your search, status and the list of all orders made by the customers. Seller needs to click on any of the order which he/she wants to manage from the list given on the “My Orders” page. A new page will open up titled as “Order Detail” that contains detailed information like summary, invoice address, delivery address, status history, shippings, products details and more.
Under status history, seller can update the order status for the customers as per his/her choice by selecting the required status from the drop down menu and then clicking on the update status button. Once the button is clicked, the status is automatically updated on the status history and summary option.
With these simple steps, seller can update the status of customer orders in an effortless manner and can provide customer's information about the orders placed by them.
